Jade Enjoying the day.

Jade is an approximately 9 year old female Siberian x Bengal tiger and is very playful and mischievious. She will live out her days in comfort here at Forever Wild. She is very entertaining with her toys and water tank. She loves to get muddy and steal the tools the volunteers use to clean her cage. In the summer her best move is to see how many volunteers she can splash with mud. She has been a pleasure to have here and we look forward to many years of mud in our face.

Chloe arrived here at Forever Wild on June 21, 2009 at an approximate age of 8 weeks old. She was a little handful for her first set of rescuers that found her abandoned on a roof of a school in a nearby city. The local animal services called us to take her in, so that she would not face having to be put down. Per the authorities, Unfortunately for her, she was to young for most contacted rehab facilities to try to teach to be a wild bobcat or fend for herself eventually. As of yet, us humans have not been able to perfect on how to raise very young wild cats to be wild enough to survive on their own without being imprinted in someway. This would not be good for Chloe. She was old enough to not need mom's milk but to young that mom hadn't taught her to hunt yet. She is very healthy and tuff little cookie.

At one point in this little girls life was a big question mark if she was going to be able to survive her untimely event in her life but now that she has found her way to Forever Wild we have promised her nothing but happy days filled with lounging long hours, unlimited food supply and many humans to serve her every need.

Now that Chloe is no longer a baby she has a new best friend and room mate Boogie but don't let her princess look fool you, she likes to play ruff with Boogie and show him who is boss of the enclosure even if she is half his size.

Meet a new member of the Forever Wild family. His name is Boogie. He is a very shy Bob Cat who is taking his time and getting used to all of the new sights and sounds of his new home. We are giving him all the space and time he needs to begin to feel at home. Hope you come to see Boogie and all of the animals that are the Forever Wild family.

Midnight is a very handsome male black leopard. He came from Texas in February 2007 at approximately 7 years old. He is one of our cats that has been able to have the much needed reconstructive surgery on all four of his paws. When we got him he also had an abnormal looking bulge in his stomach which with the help of our awesome vet we were able to find out that it was only a fatty tumor that posed no risk to his well being. He has healed very well and will no longer be in pain from protruding bone regrowth from the bad declaw he endured for many years. We have provided him with a great loving and enriched home. He will always be safe here at Forever Wild and he has made a wonderful addition to our family.

Mishka is an adorable 9 month old Siberian x Bengal female tiger cub. She came from Michigan from owners that were hit heavily by the economy. Originally sent to us as a boy named Gus we quickly realized after a careful exam she was not a Gus. She is a very playful and energetic girl that has had a tough time understanding what us humans can handle. So we named her Mishka which means little bear.

Even as cute as she is she is a handful that the a untrained person could not handle. She was very fortunate she was able to have responsible owners that looked into a proper facility that would give her a good home. We look forward to giving Mishka a long and enriching life here at Forever Wild. She is also one of the lucky cats that has not had her paws declawed so we see a very bright future for her.

Gypsy arrived here at Forever Wild on April 14, 2009. She is about 3 years old and full of more energy than a 3 year old after a birthday party. Fortunately for her she was never declawed so we expect her to have a very happy and healthy future. She is a very playful little girl that weighs 3 times or more than a large dog but has the jaw pressure to easily crush bones in seconds. With a natural stalking instinct she loves to play peek a boo with our staff as they are cleaning enclosures and will also give you quite a show during one of our tours with her effortless jumping abilities to her day beds throughout her enclosure. If you are lucky you can also catch her putting on such a hysterical display of chasing her own tail and attacking her unsuspecting feet. She is an absolute joy.

Gypsy comes from the entertainment industry. She was no longer being worked so the owner needed to find a suitable and permanent home for her. All of us at Forever Wild welcomed her with open arms. We look forward to many fun filled adventures with our furry friend.
